Hi everyone! The tide has definitely turned here in Michigan as far as the seasons go, and we are definitely in the grip of autumn. Most of the gorgeous colors have passed and the leaves are gone thanks to a few windstorms, but I've been consoling myself by scrapping as many of the fall colors as I can before the emphasis turns to the upcoming holidays. Here's what I've done so far this month:
This first layout was done for a challenge at Oscraps that wanted you to scrap about fall but also required you to use some Word Art on your page. I scrapped a photo I took in late October at a local park:
The mask came from FotoBlendz Overlays No. 11 by Anna Aspnes, and the word art itself came from Autumn Days Overlays and WA by Palvinka Designs:
I also used the same WA and Overlays pack for this layout for the Artsy/Mixed Media challenge at Oscraps:
Other products I used were September Garden by et designs, Age Is Just A Number Collection by Vicki Robinson, and WaterColor FotoBlendz No. 6 by Anna Aspnes; however, the bulk of the project was done using Last Sunny Days by et designs:
I went back to Palvinka Designs' shop and grabbed the full Autumn Days Kit that the add-on set I showed you above coordinates with:
While I did keep on using the Autumn Days products, I also used Anna Aspnes' WaterColor FotoBlendz No. 6, ArtsyKardz Moira MultiPack, Artsy Stains No. 7, ArtsyPaint No. 13, and a brush from ArtPlay Palette Saffron Villa (retired) to go in a slightly different direction:
Speaking of a completely different direction, the final challenge layout I have to show you was done for the 52 Inspirations challenge at Oscraps:
I was playing around, experimenting with using papers to color in a black-and-white stamp, and it was fun to see how many of the weekly offerings worked together for my page:
