Happy Halloween, everyone! By all accounts, it's going to be an unusual holiday this year, what with the pandemic and all. I've been a casual observer more than a participant the last few years anyways, so I'm not too worried. We've also come to the end of the month, so it's time to pick up where I left off to show you my dabblings in digital scrapbooking.
As usual, most of my layouts are done in response to challenge prompts, and this first one is no exception. At Oscraps we were given a sketch to follow in order to create a traditional paper-style layout:
Here's my take on it, scrapping a photo I've been meaning to get to for a while, of my niece and her husband:

I used an older kit by et designs called Smile Please, and grabbed a few items from a new-to-me kit called Artichoke Heart by reginafalango:
A newer designer challenge at Oscraps is one hosted monthly by Mediterranka Designs. She asked us to scrap a favorite quote or poem about autumn, and here is my page:
We needed to use her products, of course, so I used some of a free mini called Fall Stories Add-On and some bits from her full kit Pick Your Destination:
As I've mentioned before, I try to participate in Anna Aspnes' challenges whenever I can, and this time around the AnnaLift challenge asked us to create a white space page. I thought a photo I took of some birds silhouetted in some bare tree branches a few weeks ago would do the trick:
I used quite a variety of Anna's products: ArtPlay Palette Bliss, ArtPlay MiniPalette Breeze, FotoBlendz Overlays No. 11, WaterColor FotoBlendz No. 6, and Artsy Stains No. 7 ; but I also used a bit of the Sizzle Collab by the Oscraps Design Team:
One final designer challenge that I participated in at Oscraps was hosted by AFT Designs. Her request was that we scrap a black and white photo. Of course, that took me in a heritage direction, and I scrapped this photo of a dear aunt, who celebrated her 76th birthday just a month ago:
We were allowed to use products by other designers, so I used some items from 52-2020-no-14-Flea Market Treasures by After Midnight Designs and 52-2020-no-35-Tagged by ViVa Artistry. The majority of my page, however, used the gorgeous Vellum Fancy Add-on Kit by AFT Designs:
My last challenge layout to show you is a page done for a mask challenge at Just Art Scrapbooking, one of my favorites each month. The photo is of some leaves I took the other day on a walk; the kit is Sona, a newsletter freebie by Tir Amisu Designs:

Finally, today's last layout wasn't done for a challenge, but for an opportunity to use some goodies from this month's Mini-O sale at Oscraps. Usually the sale of color-coordinated mini kits is the 4th Friday for 44% off, but since we had one extra Friday in October, we get the 5th Friday for 50% off through Monday! Here are the two coordinating mini kits I used; Galaxias by Maya de Groot:
... and Four Seasons Winter Follies by Blue Flower Art (there are actually 3 other packs in different colors if you want):
Here's my layout:
We are at the end of this post as well as the month! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and make sure you come back and see me soon!
