Happy DSD 2012!

Hi all! For those of you not in the scrapping world, today is Digital Scrapbooking Day. Most shops and forums have huge sales, fun challenges, and free goodies of all sorts! While these two new releases are not specific to DSD, they ARE on sale throughout the rest of this weekend, so perhaps take a look at the shops! First we have this gorgeous kit from Dana's Footprint Digital Designs called Sweet Elegance, available HERE at Scrappity Doo Dah:

I used the kit for an upgrade in the minikit challenge at SDD:

Next up is Country Chic, geniaBeana Scraps' contribution to the monthly Mix-A-Kit collection HERE at ScrapMatters:

I used a little of all 4 parts to make this layout for a challenge at ScrapMatters:

So, if you're a digital scrapper, I hope you get a chance to have some fun this DSD weekend.  And if you're not a digi scrapper, I hope you enjoyed seeing my pages, and also enjoy your extra hour as we move back from Daylight Savings Time!

Spring Antique

"But wait!"  you say..."it's the end of summer, not spring!"  Hi all!  That's the beauty of this lovely kit from Dana's Footprint Digital Designs, called Spring Antique...the rich colors work well for this time of year.  Of course, there is plenty to love from the antique point of view, too:

There's also a coordinating add-on mini kit available HERE:

I went with the antique feel of the kit and mini to scrap this photo of my grandparents:

Happy scrapping, and I'll see you soon!
