12 Days of December at Oscraps

Hi everyone! Well, it's Thanksgiving weekend here in the USA, the traditional start to the holiday season. It's going to be an unusual season for sure, with the pandemic continuing to wreak havoc all over the world. Hopefully we can all take a deep breath and focus in the little pleasures in life, and be thankful for what we ARE able to celebrate. To that end, the main focus of this post will be to introduce you to the annual 12 Days of December event at Oscraps, a (socially distant) celebration for sure! I have a bunch of information at the end of this post, but let me get a few layouts out of the way first!

A huge departure from my heavily-autumn themed layouts recently is this one that I did for a challenge at Just Art Scrapbooking that asked you to scrap a photo that you modified with a filter from your photo editing software. I went through my photo album and decided to play with this pretty flower from a couple of summers ago. After trying out ALL of Photoshop Element's filters, I settled on the dry brush filter:

I used the Joy Collab by the Oscraps Design Team:

Another layout I just finished is this one using a stunning new release from et designs called Winter City:

 And here's the bundle:

Isn't it gorgeous? You can find it HERE in the shop.

On to the fun at Oscraps! Right now is the Black Friday to Cyber Monday sale:

The 12 Days of December event has already started in the forum HERE! The official games and challenges that earn you entries for some fabulous prizes start on December 1st. That is also the first day of daily downloads on the blog that gets you an amazing collection of digi goodness when you're done! There is a warm-up avatar game going on now though; check it out HERE. I myself am hosting a Scavenger Hunt starting on December 2nd - it's one of my favorite games to participate in and I love hosting when I get the chance.

The Grand Prize is valued at $100, and there are tons of runner-up prizes, daily game and challenge prizes, and even a sprinkling of coupons courtesy of Buddy the O'Elf! I hope you take some time to join in the fun, and make sure you come back and see me soon!
