Mid-October

Hi all! This is the post I came to finish when I realized that I never finished the post just before this one. Hence, two posts in one day, lol! Without further ado, let's get to it! 

I finished up my previous post with a layout I did for a September color challenge by the Anna Aspnes team at Oscraps. I jumped right into the current challenge, which ends today:

 

The challenge host encouraged participants to focus on darkness with just a pop of light, so that's what I did:

 

I used FotoInspired Template Pack No.2A and InkedWords Memories No.1 by Anna Aspnes; Ransom Papers-BnW's by Vicki Stegall Designs, and Liberty by ViVa Artistry.

Autumn is such a wonderful time to be outdoors and capturing the fall colors, so I was happy to scrap this photo I took last weekend into a layout for a Template Challenge at Oscraps:

I used Autumn Splendor by Palvinka Designs, September Garden by et designs (a couple of favorites from my stash) and Full-On Shabby (bundle 1) by Joyful Heart Designs. The challenge runs through the end of the month, so there's plenty of time to join in!

Not for a challenge, but just for fun, is this layout I made with a wonderful art journaling collection that releases today at Oscraps. I haven't done a lot of art journaling, but I plan on playing around in that medium a bit more in the future:
