That's a rhetorical question, by the way. I know where August went! I was extremely busy at work and at the end of most days I had no energy for scrapping. PLUS, I bought a condominium at the end of July and spent a good portion of August chasing paper trails, making arrangements, packing up, getting stressed, and then finally moving into my new home at the end of the month. Here's a layout I did commemorating the big day, actually done for a Word Art challenge at Oscraps:
I used Warm Sunlight Elements, Papers, and Overlays and WA by Palvinka Designs, which are part of August's Fab Friday collection at Oscraps. The introductory sale is over, but the various coordinating contributions to the collection are still available at great prices:
I could have taken a leave of absence from my Creative Team duties at Oscraps if I wanted, but I decided I'd make it work. So, here are the rest of the layouts I did in August:
August featured a Border Challenge at Oscraps, and I wanted to try that one out since I really don't do a lot of border work on my layouts. Here is the page I ended up with:

I used Coastal Sunset by Emeto Designs, who always has the perfect combo of realistic elements and dreamy papers and overlays:
Another challenge at Oscraps that takes me out of my comfort zone is the Agency challenge. This one asks you to take on the role of an artist at an advertising agency, and you are tasked to create an advertisement for a hypothetical client. In this case, the "client" needed a poster to advertise an event or special occasion. You also had to use a gradient of some sort. I came up with this:
I used Cattitude by After Midnight Designs, which I've shown you before:
The final layout I did in August was also for a challenge at Oscraps, a Page Sketch challenge. This is the sketch we were asked to use for inspiration:

...and my interpretation:
I used Forget Me Not by Blue Flower Art, which was perfect to complement the photo I scrapped:
So, here we are at the end of my post and the beginning of September. As I settle into my new home (there are packing boxes EVERYWHERE), I hope to be spending more time scrapping. I hope that you will come back and see me soon!
