New Goodies!

Hi all!  It's new release day at The Digichick, so let me show you what's on sale for 30% off through Sunday!

Snips n Snails Designs has this sweet little mini kit called Owen:

Take the kit, add some coordinating papers and a photo of my hubby when he was a baby, and this is my page:

Also new this week is a kit with a definite St. Patrick's Day feel!  Take a look at Top Of The Morning from Meagan's Creations:

With this kit and some coordinating paints, I did this layout:

This layout is going the be the inspiration piece for my challenge at The Digichick in March, so check it out HERE on March 1st!

In other news, I did a couple of layouts last week for some challenges at ScrapBook Bytes.  They both used some new products from Ohana Designs.  First up is a page made with papers she contributed to the February Grab-a-Byte collection and some elements from Shawnery Mathis:

This next page is for a music lyrics challenge, and I used here new kit For All Eternity.  Here is a look at the kit:

That's it for today!  March is with us in a few days, so make sure you come back and see me soon to see what the new month brings!

Those New Releases I Was Telling You About

Hi all!  I meant to come back a day or two ago, but I've had a slightly busier than usual work schedule.  Without further ado, let me show you what is new at The Digichick this week!

For Valentine's Day scrapping, or in my case, just cute baby scrapping, here is the Heart To Heart Collection by Polka Dot Pixels:

My layout:

The Digichick design team is releasing collaborative collections on a quarterly basis this year, and the first one, just out, has a strong art journaling feel to it.  Take a look at  Follow Your Heart:

http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/Follow-Your-Heart.html

I embraced that style and scrapped a page with a quote I stumbled upon earlier this year:

Both these releases are on sale through this weekend, so check them out right away!

I'd love to stay and chat, but there is a pile of laundry calling my name.  I hope to come back soon, and I hope you will too!

More Challenges!

Hi all!  It feels like I've been away for a while.  While there has been a lul in new releases, I spent some time last week playing around at Pixels & Company during their Birthday Bash.  I played some games and won some prizes!   Here are a couple of pages I did---this first one was for a template challenge:

Isn't that a fun template?  I used the kit Beginnings from Wishing Well Creations.  The other page I did was for a scraplift challenge, which was also sort of a template challenge since the hostess provided a template you could use if you wanted.  This layout used the Monstrously Cute Collection, also from Wishing Well:

Speaking of challenges, the new round of challenges is up at The Digichick.  I am hosting the Signature Challenge HERE.  In it, I suggest you use a template to create a forum signature .  Here is my siggy, using Amore Mio by the Digichick Design Team and a template from Southern Serenity Designs:

I'm also featured in the Inspiring Chick challenge!  My CT buddy Kate is hosting this challenge, giving everyone a chance to meet the Creative Team and perhaps earn some points by lifting a layout.  This is the layout I made for the feature, again using a template from Southern Serenity, a kit from Kimeric Kreations, and some editing actions and styles from Charm Box Studios:

Why don't you come and hang out with me this month at The Digichick, and make sure you come back to see me soon for some new releases!
