Mid-September Check-in and New Designers at Oscraps!

Hi everyone! Time is marching on and we are halfway through September. While I'm always sad at this time of year that summer is leaving us, it is nice to have cooler weather to exist in and gorgeous colors to scrap with- and- about!  I'm going to show you my usual layouts first and then we'll take a look at some work I did with products from not one, but two more new designers at Oscraps!

 

Challenges are often my starting point, and this first layout was done for the Quote It challenge at Oscraps:

 

I used the Cherish Mixed Media Digital Scrapbooking Kit by Lynn Grieveson, a September Featured Product at Oscraps, which means it is on sale through the whole month:

 

Although I didn't get there in August, I usually try to participate in Vicki Robinson's Featured Product challenge, which is going on through September 23rd. During that time her Junque Journal 03 Collection is on sale:

Another designer challenge I don't always get to is the Anna Lift Challenge. As the name implies, participants are given a layout from Anna Aspnes' gallery and asked to use mostly Aa products to interpret it in their own way:

 

When I saw this fabulous photo that my niece took of her daughter, I knew it was perfect for the challenge:

 

One of the suggested products to use was ArtPlay Palette Classico by Anna Aspnes, and I have to agree it fit the photo perfectly:

 

 

I'm tickled to note that I got a shout out on the Gallery Standouts blog for that layout, so I guess everything came together the way it was supposed to!

 

Now, on to the newest designers at Oscraps! We welcomed Daydream Designs to the shop earlier this month, and this is the first product I grabbed - Urban Garden:

 

  

 

I used it to create this layout for the Seasonal challenge at Oscraps:

Our VERY newest designer is Fiddlette Designs, whose shop full of whimsical hand-drawn kits is on sale through Sept 22nd. My first page was done with this cutie - What If You Fly:
