Remember a couple of posts ago when I said I wouldn't be making as many layouts as I had been while I was enjoying my guest spot at Pickleberry Pop? Well, I don't know what got into me but I've made a lot this week! They were all created for challenges at Oscraps, and the unusual thing is that the colors of most of them use the vivid palette from July's Color Play collection, which I talked about a couple of posts ago. Let me show you!
This first layout is for the August Color Palette challenge. Now, you didn't have to use July's Color Play products, but the palette was based on that. I once again grabbed Forgotten World by ViVa Artistry, which I showed you HERE:
For the flower cluster at the bottom of the page I added a Petal Splatter by Foxeysquirrel:
Each month Lynn Grieveson hosts a challenge asking you to use her July Color Play collection, and her take on the palette was just right for the layout I had in mind. It's called All That We Were:
If you want to participate in the challenge it runs through August 22nd HERE. A random winner will receive an $8 gift certificate to Lynn's shop! Here's my layout:
Now, for another color challenge, take a look at the current AnnaColor Challenge palette:
Although not the same palette, it's still pretty bold, right? Not my usual preference and I might have skipped it but then I came across this photo of two of my nieces and here we are:
I used a ton of different products by Anna Aspnes and won't list them all here but the majority came from an older product of hers called ArtPlay Palette Chatter:
Enough of those wild colors, lol! My final layout to show you is one I did for a Featured Product Challenge that Rachel Jefferies has going on through August 14th (so it ends in a few days). The product to use is This Is Now, which is on sale for 35% off for the challenge:
I decided right away that I HAD to use the gorgeous floral paper in the collection and ended up with this layout:

That's it for today. It remains to be seen whether I've got this out of my system for now or if there will be another flood of pages to show you next time, so make sure you come back and see me soon!
