Hi all! I had some free time this afternoon so I thought I'd post the layouts I've done so far this month as a CT member at Oscraps.
First, I was moved to create a layout that reflects the situation in Ukraine right now:
The image is one I downloaded from Pixabay; the kit is Warm Sunlight by Palvinka Designs, which I've shown you before. It is rich in sunflowers, so that made it any easy choice. The link takes you to the element pack; there are also papers and overlays that coordinate.
International Women's Day was earlier this week, and since the whole
month of March is Women's History Month, I was inspired to do this
layout about my Mom for a challenge at Just Art Scrapbooking:
I was so excited to use a collaboration called Kindness Changes Everything, by the fabulously talented Rachel Jefferies and Lynn Grieveson, who opened up shops at Oscraps this month:
Both Rachel and Lynn specialize in an art-journaling/mixed-media sort of style, which you might remember me mentioning is a current fascination of mine; luckily, their products are versatile enough for more traditional scrapping as well. I plan on working with their goodies A LOT!
Finally, I just finished a layout yesterday for a White Space challenge at Oscraps, a twist being that you had to scrap an animal. Luckily for me, I had this photo of my new roommates that I've been meaning to scrap:
I used Unfinished Woman by Vicki Robinson, which is on sale until the end of March as her featured product for the month:
A coordinating pack of word art and notebook papers are also available individually at a reduced price, as well as all three in a really discounted bundle. I'll be using this again for a couple more challenges, so make sure you come back and see me soon!
