Hi all! It's almost the end of February, which doesn't bother too many people, since while the fun of Valentine's Day is over, winter isn't. But the days are getting longer and we have been flirting with some warmer weather on and off recently, so there's hope! I thought I would take a minute and catch you up on what I've been up to this month so far.
This next layout was done for the 52 Inspirations challenge at Oscraps. AS I've probably mentioned before, 52 Inspirations is a subscription-based product category where you get a free mini kit once a week for the whole year for one price. The minis are always available for sale individually, but the subscription is most cost-effective. I'm not much of a mixer of products, but this time I sort of went crazy, pulling from several kits for this layout (more blue!):
Since I used so many products, I'm just going to link the product names ad not the images. Here goes!
52 Inspirations 2022 no 05 Icy Cold Papers by Foxeysquirrel
52 Inspirations 2022 No 02 Fancy Flakes by Vicki Stegall
52 Inspirations 2021 No 21 Floating Frames 4 by ViVa Artistry
52 Inspirations 2021 BONUS Christmas Inspired Scrapbook elements by Vicki Stegall
52 Inspirations 2020 no 50 Winter Dreams Playing with Brushes Stamps by et designs
52 Inspirations 2020 No 25 Gesso Marks by ViVa Artistry
52 Inspirations 2020 No 05 Winter Forest Mini Kit by Aftermidnight Design
The next two layouts I have were done for challenges that are hosted every month by Anna Aspnes' team at Oscraps. I love the style of Anna's products but don't always have the time to use them; however, I did participate twice this month. The first layout is for the current color challenge. Here's the palette to use:
My resulting page, using 2 of Anna's products that I've shown you before; ArtPlay Palette Veranda and ArtPlay Palette He:
This next layout was done for the Anna Lift challenge that just ended. The inspiration layout was one done by Marleen, a HUGELY talented artist who I really admire:
Once again, I mostly used products I've shown here before: ArtPlay Palette Veranda by Anna Aspnes and Butterfly Effects by Foxeysquirrel, but I also used 52 Inspirations 2020 no 37 French Market Butterflies by Vicki Robinson (there's that 52 Inspirations again!):
That's the beauty of digital scrapbooking...you can use the same products over and over again, and the technology of the programs available to scrap with give you endless opportunities for creativity. That's why this has been my chosen creative outlet since 2009!
Anyways, that's it for today. I still have to do a post of my Month of Challenges at The Lilypad layouts, and the 16th Birthday Party event at Sweet Shoppe Designs is wrapping up, so I have some pages to show you from there as well. But that's for another time, and I'll be back in a few days since the last Friday of the month is coming up. Stay warm, and make sure you come back and see me soon!
