Forever Love

Hi all!  It's Thursday, and that's New Release day at The Digichick.  I chose to work with an absolutely stunning new collection from Lilach Oren Designs called Forever Love:

The palette of this kit is one of my favorites EVER.  I liked it so much I did 2 pages!  The first is of some photos from a family wedding we went to last month:

For a little help I used an add-on journal card set and a Project Life template set that Lilach also has available.

The second layout I did is for a challenge I'll be hosting the weekend of August 7th to celebrate The Digichick's 9th birthday:

My challenge, if you can't guess, will have a heritage or genealogy theme to it.   I'll keep you posted on details as they become available, so come back and see me soon!

New This Week at The Digichick!

Hi all!  I've got a short and sweet post today.  I worked with a couple of fun new releases at The Digichick this week.  Kimeric Kreations has a new collection out called Dare Devil:

A new designer to the store, Little Bit Shoppe, has a fun set of templates on sale.  This set is called Bits and Blocks:

Take a little from both, add some photos of my hubby when he was a boy, and I came up with this layout:

July Things

Hi all!  Welcome to the month of July!  Today is the 4th, when we in the USA celebrate Independence Day.  I'm enjoying the day off, and looking forward to the longer holiday weekend.

In other news, I worked with a fun, beachy, tropical kit from Snips n Snails Designs called Hang Ten:

With the kit's focus on surfing, it was easy to go dig up some photos from our family trip to Hawaii many years ago and get to scrapping.  I actually did 2 pages that coordinate with each other, and I'm proud to say that my North Beach layout received a Gallery Standout mention HERE!

I really do have to work on getting more of those Hawaiian vacation photos scrapped!  Hang Ten and its add-ons will be on sale for 30% off through the weekend, so snap it up soon!
