P365 Week 4

Here's my week 4 layout. It's been a cold, dreary week weather-wise and I'm trying to shake off a cold. But, on the brighter side, we're not buried under a ton of snow and ice like some parts of the country, and genia Beana Scraps has some new kits out that I'll be loving to show you, so stay tuned later this week!

Change of Heart from genia Beana Scraps

A while back I showed you a very pretty Valentine's Day kit from genia Beana Scraps call Love, Sweet Love. Now, she's teamed up with JennCK Designs to give you all a kit for scrapping those manly men in our lives, or really, anything else that could use a more neutral touch. This kit, called Change of Heart, is available at three different stores, so hop on over to one of them and check it out!

P365 Week 3

Here's week 3. It was a rather uneventful week, as many of mine are, so I focused on photographing random things. :)

Love, Sweet Love

New this month from genia beana Scraps is this loverly kit, called Love, Sweet Love. It's obviously a Valentine's themed kit, but there's so much sweet goodness in it that Val's Creative Team came up with 20 different layouts before the kit was even released! I adore the little delicate hearts and flowers--something nice to brighten up a cold, gray, winter:

You can get the kit at Val's stores HERE at GDS or HERE at Elemental Scraps!

P365 Week 2

Here's my second week LO for P365. I used the same kit as last time, Hazy Shade of Winter from genia Beana Scraps (get it HERE at Elemental Scraps):

P365

In case you haven't heard of it, Project 365 encourages folks to take a photo a day for an entire year to document their lives and to improve their photography skills. I thought that this year I'd give it a try--I did get a new camera for Christmas, lol! Some people are posting each day's photos on Facebook or a blog or whatever, but I think I'm just going to shoot (no pun intended, lol) for weekly layouts. There are tons of designers out there creating templates for just such a purpose, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, here's a layout I did for a challenge over at ScrapBookBytes. The 5 required components: white space, sparkles, round photo(s), a string or repeated element, and brackets:

I used Designs by Laura's fabulous kit Deck the Halls, available HERE at ScrapBook Bytes!

Happy New Year with a Little Christmas Whimsy

Happy New Year to all! Like every other year, it seems like this past one has just flown by. Here's hoping 2010 is a great year for everyone!

Here's a cute little layout to show you. It's of a photo taken at Thanksgiving, scrapped with a kit called Christmas Whimsy, and part of my first post for the New Year!

The kit is by genia Beana Scraps for the GDS voluntary collab. You can pick it up HERE, and then check out the other designers' contributions:
