Hi all!  Every now and then I do layouts just for fun, not for Creative Team work, so I thought I would show you what I've been up to in that vein lately.  As usual, these layouts are done for various challenges.  Nothing like a challenge to get your mojo going!

Here's a page I did for a photo challenge at Pixels and Company that asked you to use at least 2 photos, the catch being that one of the photos had to be taken from behind:

As I mentioned in my last post, I used a photo edited with Charm Box Studios' Flea Market Actions for a challenge layout.  Actually, one layout, two challenges!  One challenge was a template challenge at Scrapbook Challenges and the other is the June Use It All Challenge over at The Digichick:

New This Week

Hi all!  I've been in a scrapping mood lately.  It's so much fun when your scrapping mojo comes back.  Here's what I've been up to this week!

A new release from a new designer at The Digichick, Heidi Nicole Designs, is this contemporary  little mini kit called Grind Brew Enjoy:

The colors in this kit reminded me of some photos I took of my daughter while she was toiling away on our deck a few weeks ago:

Also new this week is a set of photo editing actions from Charm Box Studios called Flea Market!:

I took a photo of my little niece and ran each of the actions on it, with the following results:

 

 I liked the action called Cowboy Hat the best:

I am proud to say that I came up with the name for this kit during a brainstorming session of Laura's Creative Team.  I dove into my mother-in-law's old photo album for a photo of my hubby when he was a boy, and this is the result, a page I did for a template challenge at Pixels and Company:

Summer Time!

Hi all!  I'm a little giddy with the stunning weather we have been having around here lately.  Even with a few stormy interruptions, I'm enjoying the mostly sunny days.

I'm also enjoying scrapping (of course!)!  Here's what's new this week:

The Company Stash is in at Pixels and Company!  Wishing Well Creations has come up with a summery bit called Boardwalk:

I decided to scrap some photos from a vacation a couple of years ago:
