New This Week

Hi all!  Can you believe April is winding down already?  Time is definitely flying, and I'm here today to show you the last of the new releases I have worked with this month!

First up is this set of Die Cut Mats from Laura of Wishing Well Creations:

I used the circle mat instead of a paper layer for this page I did for a template challenge at Pixels and Company:

Next is this novel product from Ohana Designs!  Is It Spring is a mini kit bundled with a coordinating quick page set the allows you to use the QP as it's made, OR, you can modify the QP to suit your photos or scrapping style!

I modified the QP to fit a smaller photo, I added some more flowers, and I used the light blue paper from the mini kit to make a title:

Fun, huh?  Both these products are on sale through Sunday, so check them out!  Next week is bound to be exciting as Saturday, May 3, is National Scrapbooking Day, and there are all sorts of fun things in store!  Make sure you come back and see me then!

Happy Spring!

Hi all!  Easter is tomorrow, and the weather around here has finally decided to try to realize that it is spring time.  I did some happy scrapping this week too, so let's take a look!

Angie Hinksman has another sweet kit with gorgeous colors and patterns called Phoebe:

...and, Charm Box Studios has a fun set of Shaped Photo Masks to play with:

Combining the two with some photos from my hubby's childhood, I came up with this layout:

It's Grab-a-Byte time at Scrapbook Bytes, and Ohana Designs has a wonderful collection called Forgotten Garden:

How could I resist all this purple-y goodness?  I scrapped some photos from a spring long ago:

Finally, Wishing Well Creations has a new collection of templates out.  Take a look at Stitched Down Volume 3:

I modified one of the templates just a bit for this page:

That's it for today!  I hope you have a blessed Easter, and make sure you come back and see me soon!

Action!

Hi all!  It seem like forever since I've been here.  My work schedule has been super busy and I haven't had much scrapping time.  I did take some time, though, to work with this new release from Charm Box Studios at The Digichick:

Charla's specialty is photography, and her products focus on editing pictures and enhancing the scrapper's workflow.  This collection gathers together some goodies that collectively give a peek into what Charm Box can do for your photos and scrapping.  I used a template, the Our Life action, the bokeh overlay, and the shadow style to redo my own Facebook timeline cover:

This long, snowy winter had me longing for tropical locales, can you tell?  The collection is on sale for 30% off HERE, so grab it while you can, and then come back and see me soon!

Five Senses

Hi all!  It's a new month, and that means time for new challenges at The Digichick.  This time around, I'm hosting a Five Senses challenge, whereby we are asked to utilize at least four of the five senses into making our layouts more than just who, what, when, etc.  This was a really tough challenge for me, since I don't usually do a lot of journaling on my pages...put me in the who, what, when category!  But, I gave it my best shot:

I used a kit called Fabrications de Joie by Quirky Twerp, who happens to be our Featured Designer for the month of April.  You can check out the Five Senses challenge HERE .  You can grab the kit HERE:

In other news, Angie Hinksman, who recently joined the Digichick family, has released a set of kits, one with a boy theme and one for girls.  I, of course, chose the girly one, a very pink number called Abigail:

I did a layout featuring the littlest princess in our family:

I think this kit would do well for an Easter layout too, so take a look HERE to grab it, then come back and see me soon!
