Sunday Scrapping

Hi all!  It's been a couple of weeks since I've posted here!  Things have been busy, so my scrapping time was minimal.  Not nonexistent, though, so let's see what I've been up to:

Charla of Charm Box Studios over at The Digichick develops lots of photo editing actions and also creates fun storyboards that lend themselves to printing and displaying.   Check out Siblings Storyboards:

I grabbed this set last week, but instead of doing a piece to hang on my wall, I incorporated one of the templates into a layout:

In other news, Laura of Wishing Well Creations teamed with Studio Basic to create a fun kit that celebrates those "oh no"  moments, or just acknowledges the fun moments in life.  It's called These Moments:

I grabbed a silly photo from one of my older photo albums to scrap this layout with a freebie template from Crystal Livesay:

The collab is on sale HERE for the weekend, and if you act quickly, you can get a free set of coordinating journal cards with your purchase.  That's it for today!  A new month is coming up, and you know that means lots of new goodies, so come back and see me soon!

Photo-a-Day continues

Hi all!  As I was perusing my online album of layouts, I realized that I never showed you my second-half-of-August-PAD page.  If you'll remember, PAD for July was non-existent and August was pretty wimpy as far as the actual photo count goes, so I hope you'll bear with me.  I'm already doing much better for September!  So here is August 16-31 Photo-a-Day in all its glory:

The template came from Cornelia Designs at The Digichick, and as usual, the papers and elements are by Wishing Well Creations.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and come back and see me soon!

Ganbaru

Hi all!  Am I on a roll, or what?!  This is my third post in 2 days.  I found some unexpected free time for myself yesterday and instead of cleaning my house I decided to scrap.  Tough choice, I know.  My vacuum cleaner will get over it.

So take a look at the September Digichicks Around the World Collab called Ganbaru:

Isn't it gorgeous?  We visit Japan this month, and the term "ganbaru" refers to strength and perseverance.  I grabbed the kit, which includes a couple of templates, and a photo from my niece's Facebook page to do the following layout:

I also used it for my desktop background this month:

I hope you check the collection out HERE at the shop, and then come back to see me soon!

Star Gazing

Hi all!  I'm back, sooner than I expected!  I decided to jump right into my next project, working with Star Gazing, Ohana Designs' contribution to the September 2013 Grab-a-Byte collection at Scrapbook Bytes.  Michelle created six packs, and I used pieces from these four:

Without a lot of elements to work with, I focused on the papers, getting inspiration from a layout I saw that used lots of paper layers:

The Grab-a-Bytes pieces are on sale for 60% off through the 15th, so make sure you check them out HERE, and then come back and see me soon!

New This Week at The Digichick

Hi all!  I had the chance this past week to work with not one, but two new releases from my designing buddies at The Digichick.  Take a look:

First up is this fun birthday kit from Quirky Twerp called Make A Wish:

I immediately thought of some photos I came across a while ago while looking for something else and decided they were perfect for this kit:

I also worked with this lovely kit from Moni of 2am Designs called Simply Happy:

...and did this layout for a scraplift challenge:

You can grab Make A Wish HERE and Simply Happy HERE.  I hope to be back soon with more goodies to show you, so come back and see me soon!

Beginnings

Hi all!  Long time no see!  I have been VERY. BUSY. at work lately, and have also been spending the last week getting set up on my new laptop.  My old machine was on the verge of dying, so I took a preemptive step and ran to the store with a back-to-school sale flyer in hand.  And here I am, ready to catch up!

Last post I told you about Laura of Wishing Well Creations closing her shop at The Digichick.  Well, today I'm here to tell you about her new shop at Pixels and Company!  Some of her previously released kits are available there, and her first project at P&Co was to make some pieces for their monthly build-a-kit event called The Company Stash.  Take a look at a couple of parts of Summer's Last Celebration:

She also released an adorable coordinating template set called Tiny Paper Bits:

I combined the three to do this layout of my 3 lovelies:

You can grab the ellies HERE, the papers HERE, and the template set HERE.  And while you're at Wishing Wells' shop, check out the FREE mini kit you can grab there, and look for info on two other coordinating minis you can get from her newsletter and her Facebook page!

Well, that's it for now.  I'll still have to show you the second half of my August Photo-a-Day layouts, so make sure you come back to see me soon!
