Midsummer Fun

Hi all!  Summer is flying by, isn't it?  June has been an eventful month, and July 1st is tomorrow!  I worked with some new releases a couple of weeks ago and am finally finding time to show you what I've done.

After a hiatus of several months, Val of geniaBeana Scraps is back in the saddle!  Take a look at this patriotic collaboration with Cluster Queen Creations called Let Freedom Ring:

Hi all!  Just a quick post here today before I go to work.  I had so much fun playing with the latest kit from Wishing Well Creations, a travel-themed one called Scenic Route:

Photo-a-Day for April and May

Hi all!  Did you notice that my title rhymes?  *lol*  I was in a sort of a funk during most of May in a variety of ways.  In my scrapping life, if I'm in a mojo-less period, I have found that it usually helps me to to take some time and just organize the heck out of my files and digital workspace.  Wiping the digital cobwebs away usually helps me focus again.  Which is why I finally finished my blog makeover, and is also the reason I FINALLY have my Photo-a-Day pages to show you for April and May.  I was a real slacker for actually taking photos these past couple of months...April only has a total of 12 photos taken, and May is only a little better with 14.  That's a less than 50% success rate, but it is what it is.

So here you have the latest pages, in chronological order:

As usual, all pages are done using supplies from  Wishing Wells Creations' Everyday Life 2013 collection.  The April pocket page template was a freebie from Traci Reed, and the May template is also from Wishing Wells Creations.  Okay!  All caught up!  Come back and see me later this week for more new releases!

New Releases!

Hi all!  I have 2 new goodies to show you today!  First up is a set of templates by Chrissy W Digital, available HERE at The Digichick:

I've collected Chrissy's templates for years...they're so versatile!  I combined one of the templates with Kimeric Kreations' kit Wildflower that I showed you last week to do this page for a Fathers Day challenge:

Ohana Designs has also released a new collection called Under a Rock.  It's an outdoorsy set that relies heavily on a bug theme:

The kit can be found HERE, and if you need them, there are coordinating journal cards, extra elements, and an alpha.  I didn't have any bug photos to scrap, but I did have fun with some outdoor photos a friend of mine sent me:

New!

Hi all!  How is everyone?  How do you like my new blog look?  I wanted something a little cleaner than my previous blog clothes, but I still had to incorporate my love of purple, lol!  It took me forever to do, but the "under construction" look was driving me crazy, and I'm happy with how it came out.  We'll see if I tire of it anytime soon.

Also new is the month.  Can you believe it's June already?  The weather has been rather damp around here lately so I'm a little behind on my gardening.  I hope to correct that in the next few days!  In the meantime, I scrapped, of course!  The Digichick Design Team has released the June Digichicks Around the World collab.  We are traveling to Greece this month...take a look at Opa!:
