A Store is Closing, but a Great Opportunity for You!

Hi all! If you remember, a few posts ago I talked about the closing of Scrappity Doo Dah.  I'm doubly sad to tell you that with the store closing, my dear scrapping buddies Mara and Michelle of Partners in Crime Designs have also decided to take a break from designing for a while.  I've known Mara since we were on the same creative team a few years ago and have been with her and Michelle since before they formed their designing partnership.  They have put their store on sale until the end of the month when SDD closes, so you can grab up some great deals one of two ways:

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas! v.3

Hi all!  I'm here today with my last peek of holiday-themed goodies to show you.  Kimeric Kreations has been madly creating holiday kits these past few weeks, and I got to play with another one of her lovelies called Make It Merry!:

I thought the colors and the cute little ornament elements were perfect for these photos of last year's tree decorating day at our house:

You can grab this kit HERE at The Digichick, and while you're there check out all the other Christmasy goodness!  And for those of you I won't see tomorrow, have a very Merry Christmas, and come back to see me as we head into the New Year!

I'm Sad to Announce a Closing Sale

Hi all!  It's getting awful close to Christmas, isn't it?  That also means it's close to the end of the year, and with that comes another ending. I'm sad to say that Scrappity Doo Dah will be closing on December 31st.  The owners, like many of us, found they had too much on their plates and had to make some choices, one of which is to close their shop.  I was at SDD on and off for the last couple of years, and I have to say that it was one of the more fun places to be.  The members were all very friendly and welcoming, and they had a great challenge system.  The good news, though, is that almost every designer is having an awesome sale from now until the end of the year, so head over to the shop HERE and see what you can grab!

My last official project to work with as a member of the store Creative Team is the December version of the monthly Mega Grab Bag that SDD releases:

I *grabbed* one of the templates, a lovely vellum overlay, the alpha, and some paper or elements from just about every kit in this collection and came up with this layout, a re-do of one I did several years ago:

Brrr!  I love how it came out!  Again, the store will only be open until the end of the year, so make some time to check it out, and then come back to see me soon.  I'm not done reveling in Christmas goodies just yet!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas! v.3

Hi all! As promised, I'm back to show you more of the Christmas yummy-ness I've had the joy of working with since we were here last. First of all, though, I'd like to announce that I have joined the Creative Team at The Digichick! I was floored when Christine contacted me and said I was recommended for a team member position.  I certainly was excited and immediately said YES! I'll show you what I've had the chance to play with so far a little later on.

Now, let's see what Laura of Wishing Well Creations has been up to! Here is her newest set of templates that feature cut-out spaces, all in a Christmas theme:

I loved the tree template and combined it with the kit Christmas Magic by Etc. by Danyale for these photos:

Now, on to the gorgeous goodies offered by some of the designers at The Digichick that I got to work with this week in my new role!  Look at this winter kit from Michelle Batton called Winter Bouquet::Revisited...don't you LOVE the colors?

While it's not exactly a Christmas kit, I did use it for a Christmas photo from last year:

I also worked with a lovely kit in slightly non-traditional Christmas colors by Kimeric Kreations called A Merry Little Christmas:

I loved the tree border and HAD to use it in this layout:

This kit has an add-on paper pack available, too, if you want to check it out.  All these products are now in the shop at The Digichick and will be on sale for the weekend, so hurry over and take a look around!

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas! v.2

Hi all!  How is your December coming along?  I've got my Christmas tree up and house decorated and not a single gift purchased!  But that's how I roll.  I am definitely a last-minute shopper.  What I AM doing is enjoying the sights and sounds of the holiday season, and that especially means digital scrapbooking kits.  Last year I was sort of *meh* about the holiday offerings, but this year I've wanted to grab every.one.I.see.   So imagine my joy when Wishing Well Creations released her latest, another Christmas-themed mini kit called Jingle Bell Rock:

You can get the mini kit HERE at The Digichick, and it's on sale through tomorrow.  But wait, there's more!  Laura has also created a coordinating add-on that you can grab for free on her Facebook page HERE:

The kit name and some of the patterns gave me a retro vibe, so I dug out some old photos from my Mom's albums:

Well, that's it for today.  Have a good weekend, and come back to see me on Thursday for some more Christmas goodies (yay!) and a little news!
