This n That

Hi all!  As we head back into our regular routine I thought I'd show you some non-holiday themed layouts I've done recently.  This first page is actually for a newly released kit by Partners in Crime called All My Heart:

I loved the girly aspects of the kit for this layout of my *usually* tomboyish daughter:

Here's another layout I did with a Partners in Crime kit for a challenge at Scrappity Doo Dah that asked you to follow the theme of "reflection":

The kit I used is Comfort, found HERE in the PIC shop.  Last but not least, we have this layout that I did for a challenge at ScrapMatters that dealt with autumn:

I used geniaBeana's collab kit A Fresh Start, which, while not a fall-themed kit, had enough of the seasonal aspects and colors to work, don't you think?

Well, a sink full of dirty dishes is calling my name, so I'll leave you until next time!

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Hi all!  Did you have a nice Thanksgiving holiday?  I did, even though I totally melted the marshmallows off my sweet potato casserole.  We spent time with those of our extended family who live nearby, so it was a wonderful gathering, and that's what counts.

As anyone who lives in the U.S. knows, the weekend after Thanksgiving kicks off the Christmas shopping season, and the digiscrapping world is no different.  So I'm here to show you some goodies that have totally tickled my Christmas fancy!

First up, we have a wonderful holiday Grab Bag from geniaBeana Scraps and Cluster Queen Creations called Visions of Sugar Plums.  Here's a peek:

This amazing collection includes a colorful kit, template pack, add-on alpha, and coordinating splats.  Take a look at all the contents HERE at ScrapMatters!  I used the collection to give new life to an old photo from Christmas past:

Next is a look at this joyful set from Wishing Well Creations called Waiting For Santa.  Laura's Creative Team had a lot of fun offering input during the development of this collection, and I love how it came out:

As well as the kit, you can grab a coordinating set of solid papers, a pack of journal cards, and a cute little cookie alpha.  Check it out HERE at The Digichick!  I used the collection to scrap these photos from the same year as above:

Try to check these goodies out in the next day or so for special offers good through Cyber Monday.  And don't forget, here's a reminder of the offer from Partners in Crime Designs, good through Dec. 15th!

Alright, that's it for today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and come back to see me soon!

And now for something a little different...

Hi all!  As promised, I'd like to show you some fresh and lovely new goodies before we head into the holiday season.  These kits inspired all sorts of flowery creativity to flow to my computer...take a look!

First, from Angel's Designs, we have a gorgeous kit called Mysticisme:

I was feeling nostalgic and scrapped some photos from our wedding:

You can get Mysticisme HERE at Scrappity Doo Dah!

I also played with a sweet kit from Partners in Crime Designs called All My Heart:

I loved the colors for these photos from my daughter's Homecoming dance several years ago:

Here's hoping everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  I hope you come back and see me soon...the Christmas season is here and I can't wait to show you what's in store!

Fabulous Fall!

Hi all!  I have one last autumn-themed kit to show you!  I had a fun time with Fabulous Fall by Simple Girl Scraps:

The palette of the kit was perfect for a color challenge at Scrappity Doo Dah:

You can grab the kit HERE at Scrappity Doo Dah!

Come back and see me later this week when I'll have some non-seasonal goodies to show you, and then, get ready for Black Friday and all the Christmas deliciousness that's around the corner!  Here's a little peek:

See you soon!

Shades of Autumn

Hi all!  One of the things I love about autumn is all the rich warm colors outdoors...colors I don't usually surround myself with other times of the year.  Those colors translate into yummy scrapping palettes this time of year as well!  Take a look at some new releases I've worked with these last few weeks:

From Partners in Crime Designs is this re-release of a kit that Michelle released under her Ohana Designs name a couple of years ago, but is now available HERE at Scrappity Doo Dah (scroll down to see how you can get this kit FREE!):

You might recognize these layouts I did when the kit first came out:

And here's how you can get Autumn Memories free!  Partners in Crime has also released this seasonal kit called Falling For You:

Pick up Falling For You HERE, place it in your shopping cart, click the "check for special offers" tab on your shopping cart page, and Autumn Memories is added to your cart for free!  How fun is that?  Two kits for the price of one.  But wait, there's more!

I have not yet shown you the huge Scrappity Doo Dah Free With Purchase collection for the month of November.  It's called Reunion, mindful of how the Thanksgiving holiday often brings family together, but would work well for scrapping those summer family reunions too:

It will automatically be added to your cart for free when you spend $10!

Here's a layout I did with Reunion for a challenge:

Over on The Digichick side of town is this lovely mini kit from Wishing Well Creations called Thankful:

I love me some plaid papers and made sure to get this one in there for this layout:

Well, that's it for now.  I hope to post a bit more before the Thanksgiving holiday next week, so come back and see me!

Thankful!

Hi all!  Here's hoping that the month of November is treating you well.  A big focus for most of us this month is the Thanksgiving holiday coming up.  With an eye towards that, take a look at this new collaborative kit from geniaBeana Scraps and Cluster Queen Creations, called Thankful:

You can grab the kit and some add-on word bits and paint splats HERE at ScrapMatters.  I used the collection for a scraplift challenge at ScrapMatters:

I hope you enjoy it, and come back to see me soon!

Prince Charming!

Hi all!  The Digital Scrapbooking Day weekend is winding down, but I thought I'd pop in and show you this kit that Partners in Crime Designs collaborated on with Crystalz Colorz.  It's called Prince Charming, and it's deeply discounted HERE throughout the rest of today:

Not being included to create a masculine layout, I decided to use the kit to scrap this "charming" photo my niece took with Instagram and posted it for a monochromatic layout challenge at Scrappity Doo Dah:

If you'd like to grab the kit on sale, make sure you hop over to SDD before the end of the day...and I hope you come back and see me soon!

Happy DSD 2012!

Hi all! For those of you not in the scrapping world, today is Digital Scrapbooking Day. Most shops and forums have huge sales, fun challenges, and free goodies of all sorts! While these two new releases are not specific to DSD, they ARE on sale throughout the rest of this weekend, so perhaps take a look at the shops! First we have this gorgeous kit from Dana's Footprint Digital Designs called Sweet Elegance, available HERE at Scrappity Doo Dah:

I used the kit for an upgrade in the minikit challenge at SDD:

Next up is Country Chic, geniaBeana Scraps' contribution to the monthly Mix-A-Kit collection HERE at ScrapMatters:

I used a little of all 4 parts to make this layout for a challenge at ScrapMatters:

So, if you're a digital scrapper, I hope you get a chance to have some fun this DSD weekend.  And if you're not a digi scrapper, I hope you enjoyed seeing my pages, and also enjoy your extra hour as we move back from Daylight Savings Time!
