Hi all! First of all, here's hoping everyone is staying warm and safe with all the fierce weather Hurricane Sandy is bringing.  The weather here in Michigan has been wild enough these last couple of days...I can't imagine what it must be like on the East Coast!

Give Thanks

Hi all!  We had some GORGEOUS fall weather earlier this week that inspired me to wander around outdoors taking in the colors and snapping some photos.  Now today, we have having cold and blustery weather that is inspiring me to NOT do household chores and spend some time scrapping instead.  So, I grabbed this lovely new kit from Partners in Crime Designs called Give Thanks:

Then, I grabbed a template from a challenge at ScrapMatters and a theme from a challenge at Scrappity Doo Dah and came up with this layout:

 

But now duty is not only calling, it's hollering, so off I go to do some laundry.  I hope you get some time to do something enjoyable this weekend, and come back to see me soon!

Chic or Treat!

Hi all!  We are getting close to Halloween, and digiland is chock full of spooky kits.  I really love the latest offering from geniaBeana Scraps, a collab with Cluster Queen Creations called Chic or Treat:

Don't you love it?  It has a more adult, vintage-y feel to it.  I used it to scrap some "vintage" photos of some adults for a challenge at ScrapMatters:

October Collections

Hi all!  One of the fun things digital scrapbooking shops often do is invite their designers to create little mini-kits based on a single color palette.  That way scrappers can mix and match to scrap that perfect page!

And last but certainly not least, we have this stunning collaborative kit from geniaBeana Scraps partnering with Amy Stoffel and Cluster Queen Creations called Second Spring.  Did I mention that it's stunning?

My Inner Punk

Hi all!  Happy October!  September seemed to just fly by, and now here we are watching the changing foliage colors and getting ready for Halloween.  There are lots of scrapping goodies coming down the road, but first I wanted to show you this fun collab from geniaBeana Scraps and Cluster Queen Creations called My Inner Punk:

I didn't feel inspired to do an edgy layout as the kit might call for, but the fun colors immediately reminded me of a photo of my daughter when when she was only two:
