Punched Out Templates from Wishing Well Creations!

Hi all!  How is everyone?  After some busy weeks lately, life seems to be settling into a routine.  I took the time to have some fun playing with some new templates from Wishing Well Creations called Punched Out.  See if you can tell why:

These shapes are so much fun to clip papers to, I did not one, but two layouts:

You can grab these templates HERE at the Digichick.  And...a little birdy told me there are more fun templates on the way, so check back soon!

Spring Antique

"But wait!"  you say..."it's the end of summer, not spring!"  Hi all!  That's the beauty of this lovely kit from Dana's Footprint Digital Designs, called Spring Antique...the rich colors work well for this time of year.  Of course, there is plenty to love from the antique point of view, too:

There's also a coordinating add-on mini kit available HERE:

I went with the antique feel of the kit and mini to scrap this photo of my grandparents:

Happy scrapping, and I'll see you soon!

Good Old Summertime

Hi all!  Boy, did I have a fun afternoon yesterday doing some scrapping.  I had the extreme pleasure of working with the latest release from Papier Creatif at Scrappity Doo Dah:

This kit is HUGE.  Good Old Summertime includes 33 assorted digital papers, 136 assorted elements, and 23 assorted frames & borders, including 3 photo frame clusters!  The sunny, cool day outdoors and the wonderful natural elements in the kit inspired me to create this (extremely flowery) page:

You can grab the kit HERE.  Make sure you do!  And then come back and see me soon!

Exciting news from Scrappity Doo Dah!

Hi all!  As I told you last time, I'm taking advantage of some "me" time by kicking back and doing some scrapping.  And, as of last week, I have a new reason to carve out some time...I have joined the Creative Team of Scrappity Doo Dah!  I wasn't really planning on joining any new teams, but I always have fun there when I visit, and when they had a team call, I thought, what the heck!  :)

The first goody I've gotten to work with is this colorful kit that is FREE with any $10 purchase in the Scrappity Doo Dah shop for the month of September:

I thought the hues were perfect for this photo of my daughter on vacation last month:

I'll have more goodies to show you soon, so make sure you come back to see me!

Malihini!

Hi all!  After a few grueling weeks of dealing with various family health issues and changes of venue for other family members, I'm looking forward to kicking back a bit and enjoying some down time (which means scrapping, reading, gardening time).

To that end, I'm tickled to show you this wonderful kit from Wishing Well Creations that is new in the shop at The Digichick.  It's called Malihini ( which means "guest" in Hawaiian), and it's full of bright, fun colors and tropical-themed patterns that are great for those vacation or staycation summer photos:

I used it to scrap this layout from my spring vacation, spending some time trying to recreate a photo treatment that's been popular in digiscrapping land lately, making a photo look like a line drawing:

I hope you get a chance to pick up Malihini while it's on sale, and come back to see me soon for some exciting scrapping news!

How I Spent My Summer

Well, of course, I didn't spend the whole summer scrapbooking! As a matter of fact, there were a lot of times I was hard pressed to find some down time to indulge myself. But find some time I did, and I just wanted to show you various layouts I did for challenges at Scrappity Doo Dah.

For a scraplift challenge, using Nature Girl by Partners in Crime Designs:

Also for a scraplift challenge, this time using Spring Fresh from Partners in Crime:

This layout was done for a template challenge.  Hexagons were really popular this summer.  I used a kit from Partners in Crime's July 4th Grab Bag:

This layout was also done for a template challenge.  I used Partners in Crime's kit Evening Walk for this photo:

Here we have a layout I did for a music challenge.  You were asked to scrap a page about what you listen to in the car.  For me, it's not so much music as audiobooks.  I used Crafty by Partners in Crime:

And finally, we have this layout that I made for a mini-kit challenge.  You had to use at least one of the papers and all of the elements in the mini:

Okay, I think that just about wraps it up!  I'm looking forward to scrapping a bit more in the near future, and I hope you'll come back to see what I come up with!

You can get one portion, two, or all of them HERE at ScrapMatters.  I liked the colors for this *vintage* photo:

I'm working on a catch-up post going back to July, so I hope you'll stop back soon to see what's up!
