Third in a Series

Okay, remember last post when I showed you that layout of Ally and said I'd have to make one of Tina so that I'd have one of all 3 girls? Well, as soon as I posted that, I thought, well, what am I waiting for? So I grabbed genia Beana Scraps' newest kit Wild About You, some directions from a paper cutting challenge at ScrapMatters, and some photos of Tina and came up with this:

Tina

Here's the other two pages, in case you lost track:
Jen

Ally

You can get Wild About You HERE:

There, I feel better now!

Silly and Elegant

Hi all! I wanted to show you a couple of layouts I've done this past week for challenges. First, here's a page I did for a challenge at Brownie Scraps that asks you to use the word "Silly" as the theme for your layout. It's the first photos I've scrapped from my recent trip to Florida:

Fun, huh? I used a new kit by Scraps by Mara called In Hospital. It was designed in honor of Mara's little nephew who spent the first few weeks of his life in the hospital, but as you can see, it's versatile enough for other pages as well:

The next layout is one I did for a color challenge at ScrapMatters. The colors they asked you to use went perfectly with this photo of Ally from New Years Eve:

I used genia Beana's Basically Elegant, which I had also used for a nice portrait of Jen a few weeks back. I guess I'll be creating a portrait page of Tina next!

Fresh Baked Brownies!

Tuesday is release day for the Bakers at Brownie Scraps, so I'm here to show you some Fresh Baked Brownies! First of all, here is a sweet, girly birthday kit from Scraps by Mara titled Celebrate Natalie:

You can pick up the kit HERE in the shop. There's also a coordinating boy-oriented kit called Celebrate Xander that you can pick up on its own or as part of a cost-saving bundle with Natalie! I've been waiting for a cute kit to scrap these birthday photos of a favorite baby:

Next, let's head down to the farm with this fun kit by Ramona the Pest called Farm Country:

Being a city girl, I knew right away which photo I wanted to scrap with this kit:

Valentine's Day is coming up, so here's a softly hued kit from Flutterbye Faery Designs called Just Because:

I used it to scrap this photo from a wedding I attended last fall:

There will be more goodies and an announcement coming up soon, so stay tuned!

All Sorts of Goodies

First of all, let me apologize for the funky look to my blog. I'm having some issues with the background and haven't quite gotten them resolved. So, bear with me while we move on to fun stuff!

After being out of the loop for a bit I wanted to catch up and show you some kits I worked with a couple of weeks ago. Scraps by Mara released this monochromatic kit called I Love Snow, available HERE at Brownie Scraps. While obviously a winter-themed kit, it works well for non-winter pages too:

Country Hollow Creations is a guest designer at Brownie Scraps for the month of January. Here's a peek at her springy, Easter-y kit called Hippity Hop:

I scrapped this page with some photos from last Easter:

I'm making some forays into the world of hybrid scrapping, starting with this cute box template from WendyBird Designs called Candy Wrap Up:

With Valentine's day coming up I can see lots of opportunity for this template, although I went with a more generic theme:

Get the template HERE at Brownie Scraps!

P365 Finale!

Well, the time has come to show you folks my last two weeks of my Project 365 layouts. I'm glad I saw this project through to the end, although as I've said before, it was getting a little tough there. I'm going to take a break for 2011...I may do a monthly highlight page (sort of a P12, if you will), but I know certain people who inhabit my world will be happy to know that I'm not going to be jumping in front of them with a camera at any given moment (you know who you are!).

So, here are week 51:

And week 52, which has 8 photos since there are actually 52 weeks and one day in a 365-day year, and as you know, I organized my pages by weeks:

You may recognize genia Beana Scraps' gorgeous kit Basically Elegant that I showed you last time, but I also used Val's kit 365 Things, which was specifically designed for P365 layouts, calendars, and brag books:

Most of my digi layouts just live in cyberspace, but I'm going to have this entire year of pages printed out, so if you're ever over my house, feel free to take a look!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season, and here's best wishes for a healthy and prosperous 2011 for all! It was nice to take a break from the routine, but it's also nice to get back in the saddle, so to speak. To that end, I've got tons of new products to show you from a variety of wonderful designers!

First, here is a simply stunning kit from genia Beana Scraps called Basically Elegant, available HERE at ScrapMatters:

Here's a layout I did for a challenge at ScrapMatters, also using a coordinating cardstock pack:

Next up is the January Baker's Dozen collab at Brownie Scraps, yours for FREE when you spend $10 in the store! It's called Ringin' It In:

I used this collab to create a layout for the challenge I am hosting over at Brownie Scraps this month, the Brownie Flip Challenge:

Also at Brownie Scraps we have offerings from two designers who are guests for the month of January. Beckie of B2N2 Scraps was in my Brownie Institute class back in October, and she creates some truly amazing kits! I got to play with this awesome kit called Brights of Winter:

A rather simple page I did:

I like this kit so much and thought it was perfect for these photos of Becca I found on Facebook, so I did another page, this time for a challenge at Brownie Scraps:

Another guest designer is Michelle of Ohana Designs, who you are already familiar with from her shop over at MLAS. She released this kit, True Colors, as exclusive to Brownie Scraps for the month of January:

My thanks to Sarah for posting this photo on Facebook...I lifted it and scrapped it!

Finally, we have a collab between Ohana Designs and Scraps by Mara called Friends Across the Miles. You can pick it up HERE, also at Brownie Scraps:

And I did this page showing how sisters can be friends, too!

Whew! That was a lot of catching up to do! I hope you saw something you liked. Speaking of catching up, I've got the two last weeks of P365 pages to show you. Once I actually make them, that is! Til then...
