Winter Angel

If you're surrounded by wintery, snowy images to scrap, Ohana Designs has a cool and frosty winter kit out called Winter Angel. It's available HERE in the shop at My Life and Scrap:

I used this kit for a couple of challenges over at MLAS, and I'm rather tickled to say that, while they didn't win, each of these layouts was nominated for Layout of the Week for the weeks they were posted. See what a gorgeous kit can do for your photos?

Prairie Chic

As many of you in the digiscrap world may have heard, Elemental Scraps is closing its doors. Belinda of Dylabel Designs is working on an exciting new home for her designs, but in the meantime, she decided to go ahead and release this kit for this last week of ES's shop. It's a homespun kit called Prairie Chic, inspired by the nostalgia of the Old West. You can pick the kit and a coordinating paper pack up HERE for 30% off, but hurry, as it will only be available until December 31st!

I thought the browns and blues were good for this photo of Austen showing off his new haircut:

Some P365 goodness

The year 2010 is quickly drawing to a close, and so is my Project 365. Today I'm giving you weeks 47 through 50, and if you do the math, that means there's only two weeks left! So, without further ado:

I continued my love affair with genia Beana's Shabby Fall for weeks 47 and 48:

And for weeks 49 and 50 I used an absolutely gorgeous collab kit from the designers at ScrapMatters called Magical Winterland. The templates for all the pages here today are from Trixie Scraps:

As you may have noticed, I am still missing a few photos here and there. A challenge at ScrapMatters encouraged us P365 slackers to embrace our shortcomings, hence the "photo not found" joke in week 47! You may also have noticed that my blog looks a little different. The online server that hosted my background image crashed and the image was lost. So I'm trying to decide whether to restore it or to give my blog a fresh new face for the new year. :)

50 weeks down, 2 to go!!!!!!

Here's our family's little posie in action:

Holiday Goodness!

It's Fresh Baked Brownie day at Brownie Scraps again, and that means more fun kits! Both these releases are themed for the season, so I had fun reveling in Christmas cheer!

First up is this bright, fun kit from Ramona the Pest Designs called Snow is Glistening. It's available in the shop HERE:

I thought the colors in this kit were perfect for this photo from Christmas last year:

Beary-Merry is a huge collab from Scrap Sprinkles Designs and SnuggleBerry Pie Designs. It's a little more traditional in colors but still packed with fun:

Check out the kit in the Brownie Scraps shop HERE, where you will find information about the coordinating alpha I used in my layout above...it is yours free if you purchase Beary-Merry before December 25th! And don't forget, both kits are 25% off today only!

December = Christmas!

Happy December, everyone! Although the weather has dipped into the 20's around here in the last few days and snow is whipping about, I'm happy because Christmas is on its way! The digi scrapping world certainly gets into the holiday spirit as well, as evidenced by these new releases:

First, the latest release in the Everyday Bliss series of mini kits from Down This Road Designs over at Brownie Scraps, December is perfect for calendars, P365 pages, or just plain fun holiday layouts:

You can pick the mini up HERE. You can also get it in a cost-saving quarterly bundle that includes the mini's for September, October, and November, ***OR*** for the best value, pick up the entire years' worth of minis HERE! I went back a few years for this layout using the mini:

Here we have this cute kit from Dylabel Designs called 'Tis the Season. It's part of the December Color Play collection at Elemental Scraps. You can pick up the papers HERE and the ellies HERE for $1 each!

More scenes from the Christmas of 1992:

In addition to everything you see above, you also get a set of 5 quickpages created by some of the Brownie Supremes, including yours truly! Here's the layout I did as the basis for my QP:

Here's the QP itself, but you can only get it as part of the collab! ;)

Here's another page I made as the inspiration for the Brownie Recipe Challenge for December, which I am hosting over at Brownie Scraps. Why don't you come join us?
