Jakes' Favorite Things by genia Beana Scraps

Here's a look at a new kit from genia Beana Scraps called Jake's Favorite Things. It's a perfect kit for scrapping boy pictures. Good thing I have some adorable nephews to scrap! I used the kit for a scraplift challenge at Scrapable, so I can't really take credit for the layout style in this page, but I think it came out pretty nice all in all! Take a look:

Something a little different...

This transition from summer life into autumn routine has kept me from posting here much, but I wanted to show you something new I did. goDigitalScrapbooking.com has a monthly challenge where you choose a photo, create a color palette from it, and then use that palette to color the kit the sponsoring designer gives you. Then, you create a layout from that kit! I just recently learned how to recolor things at all, so this was a reach stretch for me. Take a look:

It took me forever to do but I learned a lot. I think I'll be trying this challenge again next month...

Lemonberry Fizz from Kimi's Kreations
